Chicken Biryani Ingredients

You can adjust the quantity of ingredients according to your taste or requirement. If you like, spicy food then you can increase spices during the making of chicken biryani. Similarly, if you don’t like much spicy food then you can adjust it according to your taste.

Chicken Biryani Cooking Method

  • Cut the onion, tomatoes, and garlic into small pieces.
  • In a pan, pour one and a half glass of water and add the chopped onion, tomatoes, and garlic in it.
  • Cook until the onions and tomatoes soften and the water begins to boil.
  • Once the onions, garlic, and tomatoes are cooked enough, grind the mixture.
  • Now add oil in a pan and pour the blended mixture into oil, and cook till the mixture is properly cooked.
  • Once the mixture is cooked, add all the spices (as mentioned in the ingredients section) and mix them well.
  • Now add the chicken pieces in the mixture.
  • Next step is to add lemons in the gravy and cook it on low flame.
  • Wait till the water of the gravy is dried.
  • Now add cardamom, badian’s flower, clove, black pepper, salt, and cumin in the water. Bring them to boil.
  • When the water boils strain the spices out if you want to, and add rice in the boiling water.
  • Take the water out of rice once the rice is partially cooked. Remember that the rice should not be properly cooked
  • Next step is to mix yellow food color and khewra in milk.
  • Now in a preheated pan, add a layer of the prepared gravy.
  • On the layer of gravy, add a layer of boiled rice and then pour the milk with yellow food color, lemon, and green chili on the layer.
  • Now add the layer of chicken, and add remaining boiled rice on top of chicken.
  • Pour the milk with yellow food color once more.
  • Add as many layers as you want.
  • Wait until the biryani is properly cooked.
  • Your biryani is ready, enjoy.
