Introduction
The BMW i4 is yet another car that will be an addition to the company’s existing range of electrified cars. It is expected that this model of the BMW i4 will be able to compete with cars such as the Tesla Model 3 and the Audi e-tron GT when it is released in 2021. The company claims that the car will have a 372 mile drive range and will be complemented with a vast array of high technology equipment discussed below. While the exact details are still pending, car enthusiasts round the globe are excited to see what BMW has in store for next year!
BMW i4 Interior and Exterior
The vehicle has bold blue details on the exterior and sports a sleek but fancy fastback look with short overhangs and a long hood on top. The greenhouse for the BMW i4 Concept seems to be pushed way at the back, making the rear deck lid appear shorter by comparison. However, we believe it gives the vehicle a unique look. Several spy photos have revealed that the headlights will be different from the last model. Meanwhile, we still don’t know the dramatic rear bumper and the integrated diffuser will be able to make it to the final manufactured version of the car.

As for the interiors, we notice that there are several touch-sensitive physical controls and climate setting tools wrapped in leather upholstery that drape the car from inside. The steering wheel is slimmer and more light-weight than most, as shown in the pre-production model but it fits well with the overall look. The car has a dramatic roofline compared to the last model, and a larger cargo area similar to the BMW 3-series Grand Coupe. However, the four-door-coupe body style is one that goes well with the interiors and exteriors of the BMW i4.

BMW i4 Engine, Performance and Functionality
According to the BMW Company, the car should be able to drive for 372 miles on a full battery based on European testing cycle. The European testing cycle, being more generous the American EPA range, is a good sign but this will be determined by real-world driving tests run when the car is released. The car will be fueled by an 80.0-kWh battery, and will have a 150-kW charging capacity to go with it. It should be noted that 80% of the car’s driving range in 35 minutes will be provided by this battery and it’s charging capacity.
BMW i4 Pricing
The exact price is unknown but the BMW i4 is expected to hit the markets $50, 000. (This is the unannounced estimate).
